Vance Doubles Down on ICE Lies, Insults ‘Deranged’ Dead Mom

    Published on

VP JD Vance insulted a slain unarmed mom on Thursday, calling her a “deranged leftist” while defending ICE’s deadly use of force.

His remarks came one day after President Trump backed the ICE officer who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good during an immigration raid protest in Minneapolis.

    THE DETAILS:
Vance accused critics of “gaslighting” ICE over the killing of Good, a 37-year-old legal observer, who was unarmed and shot three times while attempting to drive away from masked ICE agents during a protest. The SUV crashed moments later as horrified witnesses screamed.

Civil rights lawyer Jenin Younes — no progressive firebrand — said after reviewing the footage that it was clear ICE officers escalated the confrontation, adding that Good appeared to be “trying to escape a perceived threat.”

    THE RESPONSE:
Instead of listening to facts, Vance went full MAGA, declaring: “Do you think this officer was wrong in defending his life against a deranged leftist who tried to run him over?”

The White House and GOP media quickly echoed the talking point that the ICE agent acted in “self-defense.”

    THE CONTEXT:
Good was killed just miles from where George Floyd was murdered in 2020. Her death is igniting similar outrage — and a similar cover-up. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey told ICE: “Get the f–k out of Minneapolis.”

Democrats are calling for the resignations of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Trump adviser Stephen Miller — the faces behind Trump’s violent immigration crackdown.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:
JD Vance didn’t just defend a brutal killing of an unarmed woman.
    He mocked her.
And millions of Americans — already fed up with ICE’s unaccountable violence — are watching.
