MAGA ‘Was All A Lie’: MTG Torches Trump In Scathing New Interview

    Published on

Marjorie Taylor Greene, once one of Donald Trump’s most loyal attack dogs, just turned on her former master with a stunning declaration: “MAGA is, I think people are realizing, it was all a lie.”

The former Georgia congresswoman—who spent years glued to Trump’s side at rallies, amplifying his every conspiracy, and building her entire political brand on MAGA devotion—delivered the brutal takedown in an interview with YouTube host Kim Iversen. “It was a big lie for the people,” she said.

THE DETAILS: Greene didn’t just criticize policy—she went straight for Trump himself. The administration, she said, exists to serve “big, big donors,” including foreign countries and corporations funneling cash to Trump’s PACs and vanity projects like his White House ballroom.

“And if they’re donating to all these things, those are the people that get the special favors, they get the government contracts, they get the pardons or somebody they love or one of their friends gets a pardon,” Greene explained.

And when Iversen gave her an opening to blame Trump’s staff or inner circle? She refused. “People always think, ‘Oh, it’s his staff.’ They want to blame everyone around him,” Greene said. “There may be a point where people have to come to grips with, this is Donald Trump.”

OF COURSE: Greene called herself a “true believer” in MAGA’s original promises. “America first? I was like, ‘Heck yeah!’ Our tax dollars shouldn’t go to any other foreign country.” But after Trump won, she says, MAGA transformed into “whatever country Donald Trump said it was about” rather than America.

She pointed to Trump threatening Iran while chaos unfolds domestically: “We’ve got civil war practically breaking out in Minnesota. Can we not care about that?”

BUT BUT BUT: Greene also torched Fox News and its aging audience: “People watching Fox News, every day, 24/7 with their volume turned all the way up… Those are the baby boomers and God bless them, those are my parents’ generation. I love so many of the baby boomers, but they are the most brainwashed generation because they eat that crap.”

Her cold assessment of Fox’s future? The boomer generation “doesn’t have much longer,” and she doesn’t know “how the political-industrial complex is going to continue to brainwash Americans ‘cuz we’re just not brainwashed anymore.”

ZOOM OUT: The apparent falling out traces back to Greene’s repeated demands that Trump release Jeffrey Epstein’s files—something Trump once promised to do but then reportedly worked behind the scenes to block, dismissing the whole thing as a “Democrat hoax.” Epstein, of course, was once a close friend of Trump’s.

WHY IT MATTERS: When even Marjorie Taylor Greene—a woman who built her career on election denial, QAnon adjacency, and unwavering Trump loyalty—publicly admits the whole thing was a scam to enrich donors and hand out favors, maybe it’s time for the remaining true believers to pay attention. She’s not suddenly trustworthy, but she’s certainly got receipts on how the grift actually works.
