WATCH: Megyn Kelly’s INSANE On Cam Meltdown Over Bad Bunny

    Published on

Megyn Kelly completely lost it on Piers Morgan’s show Monday, screaming about Bad Bunny “stealing our football” by performing the Super Bowl halftime show entirely in Spanish—a language she apparently believes has no place in what she calls “quintessential American apple pie.”

WHAT’S GOING ON: The former Fox News host, who had already announced she’d be changing the channel during Bad Bunny’s performance, was invited onto Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss the Puerto Rican superstar’s historic halftime show.

    Things escalated quickly.

“I’m sorry, Piers, but to get up there and perform the whole show in Spanish is a middle finger to the rest of America,” Kelly argued, growing increasingly unhinged. “Who gives a damn that we have 40 million Spanish speakers in the United States? We have 310 million who don’t speak a lick of Spanish.”

When Morgan pointed out that the U.S. doesn’t actually have an official federal language (Trump’s 2025 executive order designating English isn’t a statute), Kelly went full xenophobic, telling the British host his attitude is why Great Britain “lost its culture.”

“You ceded your culture to a bunch of radical Muslims who came in and took over and now it’s gone. We’re not allowing that here,” Kelly told Morgan. “Whether it’s Hispanic, whether it’s Muslim, it’s not happening in the United States of America.”

BUT BUT BUT: Kelly claimed “the majority of Americans” support Trump’s immigration crackdown. The actual numbers tell a different story. Recent polling shows Trump at his highest disapproval rating since January 6th, with 56 percent of Americans disapproving of his performance. Only 39 percent approve of how his administration is handling immigration—down from 50 percent at the start of his second term. And 58 percent of Americans say ICE agents have “gone too far.”

Kelly also demanded the Super Bowl stay “not Spanish, not Muslim, not anything other than good old-fashioned American apple pie”—apparently unaware that the U.S. is the second-largest Spanish-speaking country in the world behind Mexico. According to census data, 14 percent of Americans speak Spanish as their primary language.

WHY IT MATTERS: This meltdown is part of a broader MAGA freakout over Bad Bunny’s performance—the first Super Bowl halftime show delivered entirely in Spanish. President Trump himself called it one of the worst ever, complaining “nobody understands a word this guy is saying.” House GOP members even say they’re opening an investigation into the performance.

Meanwhile, conservative commentators are trying to weaponize anti-immigration sentiment even as Americans increasingly reject the administration’s brutal crackdowns, including ICE killings of citizens like Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Kelly’s rant wasn’t really about language or football. It was about who gets to be considered “American”—and for her, that apparently means English-only, white, and compliant. The 40 million Spanish speakers in this country? They don’t count.

That’s not patriotism. That’s bigotry with a microphone.
