TOP STORY

Proof Trump and Republicans hate children

It’s hard to believe, but all the facts point in a singular direction: the President of the United States, and the party that unflinchingly supports him, hates children.

The evidence is mounting daily—from Republicans in Florida pushing to end all childhood vaccination requirements, to the administration's continued attempt to bury the Epstein story given the president’s connections to the pedophile.

DRIVING THE NEWS: Yesterday, Florida’s Republican state surgeon general Joseph Ladapo announced he’s pushing for an end to all state vaccine mandates.

Every state in the Union requires children to be vaccinated for measles-mumps-rubella and polio; nearly every state requires vaccinations for chickenpox and Hepatitis B.

At a news conference, Ladapo, a certified nut job appointed by fellow Republican trash bag Ron DeSantis, compared vaccine mandates to “slavery.”

To be clear, these totally safe vaccines have saved over 150 million lives since they were introduced decades ago according to the World Health Organization.

Doctors fear undoing them will cause these diseases to “come roaring back”—something you’d clearly only want if you hate children.

One infectious disease expert even told CNN that if Republicans are successful in rolling back these vaccinations (some will require the consent of the state legislature), Florida will become a hotbed of disease. He also warned families to stay away from Walt Disney World.

OH, AND: Meanwhile, up in Washington, Trump and Republicans were trying to prevent survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse from getting justice.

After meeting with the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday, a group of Epstein’s survivors held a news conference yesterday and again called for Trump to release the full Epstein files.

The news conference was interrupted by fighter jets flying overhead, briefly preventing the survivors from speaking. It's unclear who ordered those jets or why to fly right over them.

The president, a close friend of Epstein who himself is in the files, fired back by calling their quest for justice a distraction and “a Democratic hoax.”

He’s also threatening any member of his party who joins a bipartisan push to force a vote in the House on releasing the files.

BOTTOM LINE: Ending vaccine mandates—ensuring preventable diseases kill young people—and stymieing the victims of a pedophile from seeking justice are not something you do if you value children.

In fact it’s the exact opposite. Only people who hate children would want diseases like polio and measles to come back, or for victims of a prolific pedophile to never get justice. It’s proof Trump and the Republican party hate children.

How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential

Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.

Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.

Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.

🗞️ Making News

Judge rules Trump unlawfully blocked $2 billion in Harvard research funds

A federal judge handed Harvard a major victory, ruling that Trump’s White House illegally froze billions in research funding as part of an ideologically driven assault on higher education. By weaponizing false claims of antisemitism, the administration sought to punish elite universities and undermine academic freedom—putting decades of scientific progress at risk in service of Trump’s authoritarian crusade. Full story from CNN.

Trump begs Supreme Court to save his illegal tariffs

Trump is once again leaning on a Supreme Court he stacked, asking it to rescue his unlawful tariffs after two lower courts ruled he exceeded his authority. The levies, sold as economic nationalism, have gutted small businesses, shaken global markets, and driven up prices for working people—all while padding government coffers and shielding corporate power. Bipartisan lawmakers move to ban stock trading in Congress

After years of stalled reforms, progressives and conservatives have united behind a bill to bar members of Congress and their families from trading individual stocks. The measure comes amid mounting outrage over lawmakers profiting from insider knowledge while ordinary Americans struggle in a rigged economy—yet entrenched opposition in both parties shows how deeply Wall Street’s influence runs through Washington. GENOCIDE UPDATE

Almost 300 killed since experts declared official genocide

Just days after the world’s top genocide scholars declared Israel guilty of genocide, Israeli forces have killed almost 300 more Palestinians in Gaza, pushing the death toll past 63,000. Entire neighborhoods are being razed while leaders openly talk of mass relocation, echoing Trump and Netanyahu’s colonial vision of expulsion. For Palestinians trapped in Gaza City, the choice is stark: flee into displacement yet again or stay and risk death under Israel’s relentless campaign. Full story from CBS News.

Meanwhile, an Israeli database shows that only a quarter of detainees taken from Gaza are fighters—and a new documentary about Hind Rajab stunned the Venice Film Festival, receiving a 22-minute standing ovation.

🗳️ Yesterday’s poll results

Given that survivors of Epstein’s abuse now say they’re compiling their own “client list” which the FBI says “doesn’t exist,” we wanted to know: do you think there’s a list?

Fouramore said yes: “The DOJ is covering up to protect big $$$ donors & prominent individuals. No federal prisoner with 20 year sentence is moved to a camp - check into that!!! Massive covering up to keep Maxwell quiet!!!”

JD also voted yes: “If there were no client list, why is the administration working so hard to hide/cover up all information regarding Epstein?”

Meanwhile, Brandon was one of the few to vote no. They said: “I'M VERY SURE THAT ANY REAL EVIDENCE HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY TRUMP!!!”

What Democrats should learn from Gavin Newsom

California Gov. Gavin Newsom's recent social media blitz racked up millions of views and earned praise from progressives like Bernie Sanders.
