Epstein survivors seek justice—and are compiling their own ‘client list’

Epstein survivors and family members talk to NBC News on Tuesday.

Despite unrelenting pressure from the President of the United States, survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s sexual abuse are fighting back—and say they are compiling their own “client list.”

WHAT’S GOING ON: On Tuesday, six Epstein survivors met with the House Oversight Committee in D.C. for nearly two hours. They urged lawmakers and the president to release the full Epstein files and rule out a pardon for Maxwell.

Afterward, in an interview with NBC News, those survivors dropped their own bombshell: because the government now refuses to even acknowledge the existence of a client list, the survivors have been compiling their own.

Survivor Lisa Phillips said they began compiling the list using emails, flight logs, and evidence they possess.

They said they were determined to seek justice on their own. They did not say if or when they might release their client list.

WHY IT MATTERS: In the same memo the Trump administration used to try and dismiss the story back in June, the FBI admitted Epstein “harmed” over 1,000 victims. Critics have asked, he did this entirely alone?

Both Trump and his attorney general first pledged to release all files related to Epstein—but quickly backtracked after it became clear that Trump himself is in the files.

AND THEN: In another effort to try and bury the story, after the meeting Republicans released more than 33,000 pages of records relating to the Epstein case. It quickly turned out to be another dud—over 97% of the “files” released were already public.

WHAT’S NEXT: Those Epstein survivors will hold a press conference in D.C. today, as Democrats and a few Republicans with a conscience (at least on this issue) push for a House vote on releasing the full files.

The Republican party has moved to shut down that vote—in a last-ditch effort to defend the rapist who leads their party.

How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential

Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.

Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.

Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.

🗞️ Making News

Trump, who questioned his opponents' health, rebuffs rumors about his own

After spending a week in hiding, online speculation forced the 79-year-old president to stage a de facto “proof of life” in the Oval Office. The irony is striking: Trump has long attacked rivals like Joe Biden as too frail for office, yet his own secrecy, bruised hands, and history of dodging transparency around his health have only fueled conspiracy theories. It’s another reminder of how a man who built his power on misinformation is now being consumed by it. Full story from NBC News.

Judge rules Trump illegally deployed National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles

A federal judge ruled yesterday that Trump’s use of the National Guard in Los Angeles broke the law, saying troops acted as a de facto police force in violation of the Constitution. Rather than back down, Trump doubled down—bragging about militarizing D.C. and threatening to flood Chicago with troops next. Governors warn his real aim is to terrorize immigrant communities and manufacture chaos to justify more authoritarian power. Full story from NPR.

Trump makes $5 billion on crypto scheme, shows exactly how corrupt he is

The Trump family has minted a paper fortune of up to $5 billion from their latest crypto venture, World Liberty Financial, thanks to a scheme propped up by deregulation Trump himself pushed from the Oval Office. While ordinary Americans struggle with rising costs, the president and his sons are enriching themselves through a self-dealing racket that blurs the line between public office and private profiteering. It’s a textbook case of capitalist corruption—using state power to inflate family wealth. Full story from The Wall Street Journal (unlocked for NOTICE News readers!).

ICE to start using Israeli spyware once banned by Biden

Trump’s DHS has reactivated a contract with Israeli spyware maker Paragon, giving ICE the power to hack phones and secretly read private messages on apps like Signal and WhatsApp. The software has already been linked to surveillance of journalists and activists abroad, but now it’s being weaponized against immigrants as Trump pushes his plan for mass deportations. It’s a chilling reminder of how state power and corporate profiteering collide under authoritarian capitalism. Full story from Bloomberg (unlocked for NOTICE News readers!).

GENOCIDE UPDATE

Experts officially agree: it’s a genocide

The International Association of Genocide Scholars has declared that Israel’s 22-month assault on Gaza meets the legal definition of genocide, citing the deliberate destruction of healthcare, aid, schools, and housing alongside mass civilian deaths—tens of thousands of them children.

The resolution exposes how a U.S.-backed state uses dehumanization and famine as weapons of war, echoing the same colonial violence capitalism has always relied on to maintain power. Full story from the BBC.

MEANWHILE: Israel massacred Gazan children fetching water Tuesday in a so-called “safe zone” while starving 13 more Palestinians to death.

TAKE ACTION: One of the best weapons we have against Israel is our economic power. The Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement put out a guide yesterday of what companies to boycott.

🗳️ Yesterday’s poll results

Given Trump’s week of hiding, why do you think Trump has been MIA?

Gmertle voted something's clearly wrong: “He's busy being incontinent.”

Sarah voted he's dead: “Or I just wish this was true” 🤣

Arledge voted nothing: “For him to be unable to complete his term would simply be too good to be true.”

IN DEPTH

Meet the man Bernie is backing in Maine

Bernie with gubernatorial candidate Troy Jackson and Senate candidate Graham Platner this past weekend.

One of the most vulnerable Senate seats Democrats could pick up in next year’s midterm elections is way up north—the seat currently held by Trump apologist Susan Collins.

The primary to replace her is already underway, and Bernie Sanders has broken with the Democratic Party to make his own endorsement…
