Andrew Springer, Co-Founder and CEO

Andrew is co-founder and CEO of NOTICE News. An Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist, producer and entrepreneur, he’s spent his career helping new audiences get engaged with the news. Prior to NOTICE News, Springer created the first news show on Snapchat, “Stay Tuned.” He’s led social media teams at NBC News, ABC News, “Good Morning America,” and Mashable. Most recently he led development of a new brand to reach young Mandarin speakers globally for Voice of America called “Plus One.” He’s a graduate of The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and The George Washington University. Anthony Cifone, Co-Founder and COO

Anthony Cifone is co-founder and COO of NOTICE News. For the past decade, he has helped traditional news media launch and evolve on digital platforms, from social media to podcasting. He co-founded AV Media Consulting, helping news media outlets launch and manage subscription-based businesses, and has worked at Fox News and Disney ABC Television Group. He’s a graduate of The New School for Public Engagement and Boston University’s College of Communication.

Amanda Krause, M.Ed., Director of Education

Amanda Krause is publicly licensed in Secondary and Elementary Education. She is the Journalism Program Coordinator at Lake Forest Academy, where she teaches introductory and advanced journalism courses, serves a member of the English faculty, and runs the student paper, having trained for this through the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s program at Columbia University. She earned her B.A in English and American Literature from New York University in 2009 and completed her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Wisconsin in 2012. For several years, she has helped lead an Oral English Training Program in China for the professional development of teachers in Jiangxi Province and Chengdu. Most recently, she’s earned a Certificate in Women’s Leadership from Cornell University.

Angie Castillo, Washington Correspondent

Angie Castillo is the Washington DC correspondent for NOTICE News. She’s an Webby award-winning digital producer from her work with National Geographic. She’s also created content for the United Nations Foundation, Independent Journal Review, Fair Observer, and National Geographic Traveler. A digital content creator with a personal mission to connect people through stories, Angie has notably covered events from the refugee crisis in Europe to heart-wrenching local stories, such as families falling through the healthcare system cracks. As a mom of two, she enjoys finding new ways to play with words and taking the time to explore the world around us.

Greg Ott, Host and Producer

Greg Ott is a New York City-based writer, producer, and comedian. Oscillating between news and comedy, he’s a producer of The Chris Cuomo Project, and prior to joining NOTICE News, he successfully launched Cracked’s TikTok account and rebooted the “Cracked Explains” YouTube series. At Fox, he created digital news videos and original long-form programming, and before relocating from Chicago, Greg spent a decade performing sketch and improv comedy with The Second City National Touring Company and writing original plays and musicals at The Annoyance Theatre.
